I LOVE Shark Week on Discovery Chanel. Boy it really takes my mind off of the pain. Before I die, I WILL do a cage dive with sharks!

  • I am wondering if you ever feel clausterphbic (sp?) while diving? I absolutely love to swim and have always wanted to take diving classes but I am also very clausterphobic. When I watch people on TV diving I get that feeling. Does that make sense to any one or am I just weird?

  • Carrie, my husband is also claustophobic and said he would have a hard time doing it. He used to be a volunteer fireman and said he would get that feeling when he was in gear fighting fires. We did go snorkeling and with a little time he said he felt great.
  • I like Shark Week, too. It must be pretty popular, cos they bring it back. I really feel that sharks get a bad rap! After all, humans are in their territory. And, I'll never forget the first time I saw "Jaws". I think it was the summer of 1972...--Mazy
  • Mazy, wanna come with me on my shark dive?
