My issue isn't caused by back problems, although I do suffer from back pain.
I can't fall asleep before 4am or 5am, sometimes 6am.
My body says it's time to WAKE UP and be creative around 7pm, and I can't fall asleep until at least 4am.
I have tried it all. Pills just make me more groggy the next day and I sleep 12 to 14 hours only to be back awake at 4am.
I can force myself up in the morning, but I'm dead tired by 2pm and have to take a nap.
I have tried Melatonin, Ambien, Lunesta, Unisom, NO Caffaine, etc. I always feel crappy in the morning and afternoon, and fall back into my normal body rythem of go to bed at 5am, and get up at 2pm.
It's been this way my entire life. I remember being 2 or 3 years old sitting up all night by myself while my parents slept, sitting on the floor playing with my toys and looking at books.
I feel the most energy and the most creative between 11pm and 4am. I get most of my best work done between those hours.
It takes me 8 hours in the DAY to get done what I can get done at night in 4 hours.
This wouldn't be an issue, but I run a business that demands I'm up in the day. In addition my wife is ready to throw me out because I never come to bed at 11pm when she does.
PLEASE! Anyone have any hope for me? Anything?
