Ihave been attending a pain management clinic for the past couple of years and have been getting facet joint injections and sacoral inj. for pain releif. Now he wants to do new proceedure called radiofrequency nerve block. He said i had 6 months to think on it and now have been told it will be done in 4 wks. I m so freaked out as i have minimal info on it and absolutely none from him.. Can any one give me some advice. thanks

Can you give us more information about yourself, such as what kind of pain you're having, what diagnosis you've been given (your title says spondylolisthesis), etc.? The more information we have the more we can help you.
I can tell you that the nerve block is a diagnostic procedure to see if a radiofrequency neurotomy - basically a nerve burn. If the nerve block works, then they will assume that an nerve burn will be successful and reducing the pain. Here is an article about the procedure, what it entails and it's expected outcome.

~ October 21, 2008 - ACDF, 3-level (C4/5, 5/6 6/7), with hardware and eight screws. All fused and hardware is stable.
~ January 6, 2010 - TLIF at L4/5, two rods and four pedicle screws.
~ July 2010 - New CT and MRI on cervical shows further problems above fusion at C2/3 and worst at C3/4.
