    You didnt indicate how long you are post op...  Recovery is a long process and during this time, you are bound to go through several ups and downs.  The actual disc surgery is the part that heals first, but when there is nerves involved, that can take much longer.

    I had a L2-L5 laminectomy to correct lumbar stenosis in Feb 2016.  By May, my back was feeling pretty good, but it wasnt until April 2017 did all my nerve pain subside.

    You are only 2 weeks post-op, give it time. What you are going through is very common. Read the article Ron sent to you about recovery, very informative and will answer a lot of your questions.
