Why are weekends more painful?

I have been bragging about not having hardly any pain but then wake up this morning and my lower back, right buttock and my right leg are in pain. Not a lot of pain in the right leg, just a tingling pain, but it seems like I can get through the week ok (working full time) and then suffer all weekend long. It's discouraging because I really want to enjoy my weekends. It's not only the pain that increases on the weekends but I always have the fluish, weak, tired feeling that usually lasts all weekend long. Maybe I should just start working 7 days a week. Maybe it's because I sleep an extra hour or two? I don't know...I'm just upset because right now I don't feel good and have the whole day ahead of me.

  • I think the reason someone starts hurting on the weekends is because you have programmed your body and mind to make it through the work week and then you can actually relax because you don't have obligations. Also you are focused on the task at hand during the week and so you probably don't notice the pain as much. That is how it is for me.
I know I get discouraged because I feel completely worn out by the weekend and usually end up doing a whole lot of nothing. It also makes it hard because family does not always quite get why you are not ready to hop in the the car and do all kind of activities. Hope you get to feeling better. I will say a prayer for you
  • i think ya have it right on the weekend ya know ya can be sick. I to fight the same thing ive told my self lately i dont have time to be sick or in pain cause I need to enjoy my weekends as well as work all week. Ive also realy slowed my but down on how hard i push myself on the weekdays at work. No sence in working if i cannt enjoy my time off. Hope ya feel better.
