I'm having surgery on September 7. PLIF at L-4 - L5. My doctor is also a fellowship-trained spine specialist. I have been dealing with pain and numbness for about 4 yrs, but the last 5 mos I can hardly walk and function. A friend of mine who had back surgery sent me to this site. I like the information concerning the items needed to buy before surgery.

Good luck to everyone!!
Prayers sent!!
