My sister is in terrible pain from MS and Trigeminal Neuralgia and needs an inpatient behavior health pain management program. Currently she is in a psychiatric ward, because at this point she is suicidal. I am having trouble finding such a program? Does anyone know of any inpatient pain management programs?

I can her your concern and frustration in caring for your sister.

Spine-health forum rules ..do not allow any member to give names of doctors or facilities.

We do have a ...Find a Doctor...Find a Spine Center.... on left of page, which may be useful.
Making contacts may lead you to a referral more specific for you sister's needs.

The doctors and facility she is currently in should be able to refer, also.
Social workers at hospital or in community may helpful.
If she is already under a pain management doctor's care, he should know appropriate facility.

Which of her doctor's suggested the program you are searching for? Primary? Pain management? Psychiatric?

If she is not currently under pain management doctor's care, you may want to find PM doctor who is willing to accept your sister as patient and find the care she is in need of.

I wish your sister, and you, the very best.
