L4-5 Synovial Cyst

Hi. I've got a right side L4-5 synovial cyst pressing on the sciatic nerve. I've had two rounds of cortisone. 1st one was epidural. 2nd one was 2 shots: one epidural, one into the facet joint. I'm also on gabapentin. I've really been taking it slow since my 2nd shot. Now I'm starting to do more regular activities. I see the doc for a follow-up this week, so that we can start to figure out if the shots have been enough, or if I'm headed to surgery, and which procedure will be most appropriate.

Sciatic pain is no fun. I had it and it was no fun! Mine was caused by a herniation. I had a microdiscectomy to relieve the symptoms.
