Hello my husband is getting his surgery had good response to trial!  Ok we have vacation planned for July 1 it's a short flight he will be 3 weeks out of surgery and doctor said he will be fine to get into a pool. We are worried that it won't be ok and if we should put surgery off until we get back. Any advise for us. This is a relaxing vacation just some pool time and walks on the beach but he wants to enjoy himself!

  • Firstly, enjoy a vacation...

I've just had a SCS implanted on 5/5 and was told by my doc no swimming for 6 weeks to allow time to heal and minimise the risk of infection.

Each to their own, but I'd be waiting if the plan is to swim and relax
