Dr. Benjamin T Bjerke is fellowship-trained in neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery as a spine surgeon at BoulderCentre for Orthopedics in Boulder, Colorado. Dr. Bjerke treats all spinal disorders, degenerative spinal conditions, trauma and post-traumatic conditions, as well as spinal tumors and infections. He specializes in minimally invasive spinal surgery, cervical spine surgery, and in motion-preserving techniques. Dr. Bjerke understands that each patient's goals and expectations are unique, and his goal is always to maximize function while making the recovery process as manageable as possible.

Dr. Bjerke’s research interests include osteoporosis and post-surgical infections, and he has been published in Spine, The Spine Journal, and several other peer-reviewed medical journals. He has presented his research at over 30 national and international meetings. When he is not working, Dr. Bjerke leads an active lifestyle, and enjoys skiing, enjoying reading, rock climbing, and spending time with his family.
