Dr. Amish Patel is a pain management specialist focusing on the spine. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is currently the Chief of Interventional Spine Medicine and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Dr. Patel received his Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health. Dr. Patel conducted a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Medical University of Ohio and a Fellowship in Interventional Spine Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Interventions for Patients with Simple or Complex Painful Spinal Disorders; His research interests include Radicular Pain Syndromes; Pain Unresponsive to Previous Back Surgery; Compression Fractures; Discogenic Back Pain; Facet Joint Pain; Sacroiliac Joint Pain; Spinal Stenosis; and Pain Referral Patterns.
